Housi und die Knechte

In 2016 to 2017 i finally faced the fact that writing lyrics in a foreign language isn’t a good idea. Then I started the project “Housi Emmenegger” which quickly turned into the three-piece band “Housi und die Knechte” which played swiss-german arrangements of known blues-rock songs along with some originals. “Housi und die Knechte” is a project with a big comedian side to it which was a big step away from the introverted music created as StoneRose. One-Man Bands (Contagious Pete, Stiff Willie & his trembling knee, Faceless Ghoul and others)

Round 2017 i started playing the harmonica more seriously, this led me to rural blues and country music. I realized that a can play my own backing when soloing on harmonica, this then evolved into the one-man band which is mainly a live thing. I played under different names depending on the current mood and mood phase. I mostly do covers in this project. This project also includes also a diy/maker aspect since the foot percussion and harmonica rack mic self-made, mostly out of junk.

Aergera

Somewhat similar to StoneRose though a little more lyrics-focused since sung in swiss-german. Also a studio-only project.
